not be present. Dear Friend, A benefit is being held for Micheál Molloy, a native of Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, Ireland. When Micheál was in his twenties, he began to suffer from a severe form of arthritis known as Ankylosing Spondylitis. This condition cause severe pain, restriction of movement and eventually led to both of Micheál’s hips being replaced. In September 2005, at the age of 40, Micheál had an accidental fall. He sustained a C5 spinal cord injury. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down. He has endured many complications and remains hospitalized. The monies raised from this benefit will defray Micheál’s current and life-long expenses. As many of you know, a benefit has been planned at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 North Knox Avenue in Chicago on Saturday, April 21, 2007, from 4pm until midnight. At this time, however, we are asking you to help Micheál. Please purchase or sell a one hundred dollar raffle ticket (copy enclosed), or make a contribution to Micheál. All donations are tax deductible using Tax I.D. #30-6129205.
For more raffle tickets or if you have any questions, please call Padraig Gibbons, Raffle Ticket Chairman, at (312) 656-1885 or Jim Halpin at (773) 775-8355.
For further information, please contact any officer or visit www.michealmolloy.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Together we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Micheál Molloy Benefit Trust Committee
